Also known to Kurds as the “Qalat”. Erbil (or Hewler as most Kurds call it) is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, dating back to possiblly 5000 BC! My favorite area to be in when I am in Erbil, such a mixture of people, religions, culture, color, beauty.
